It’s a tough kid, you know !
How many parents have said those words ? Your child gets upset in stores, he’s tugging your sleeve after 10 seconds talking to the neighbor, he’s screaming when you leave him at school, he refuses to say hello to strangers, … what if behind those whims which you could assign to a bad temper were actually hiding emotions ?
When your kid’s giving you a hard time he’s plagued by an emotion. As the body heals a cold or a wound naturally, self-healing also applies to emotional states. Once their mission fulfilled, everything gets back to normal. Children do that dozens of times in a day. A kid faces an incredible number of frustrations: obey to parents, deal with brothers and sisters, friends, … Sometimes, the emotion doesn’t recover its balance and remains locked in its negative aspects.

Bach remedies are 38 floral elixirs (plus de crisis remedy) and cover all the emotional states. Every elixir encourage to recover a quality in yourself. This quality offsets the negative aspects of an undermined emotion and balances it.

First of all, listen
Before proposing a remedy to your child, listen to him. Encourage your child to be aware of his feelings. Accept him without judgement. After a talk, heart to heart, taking a flower remedy might be needless. If you’re also experiencing emotional states, listen to yourself and take the appropriate remedies.

In my toolbox

To encourage all of them to express themselves, I thought of printing 40 illustrated cards. Each one represents an emotional state related to a Bach elixir. At the back of each card, you’ll find a few typical lines related to the remedy and in which cases it is recommended. Additional cards indicate how to use the remedies and in which quantity.

I must admit that my artistic talents are near to doodling. I had a project in mind which I couldn’t realize without an illustrator. The first project was pending after the first crowdfunding failing. I still had the will to accomplish this project but I had no designer. And then, we always know someone who knows someone and the fairy Julie knew Stéphanie, Noirelavache.

Noirelavache
Stéphanie, Noirelavache, defines herself has an artist of all trades. She does a really good job! She talks about her : “I achieve illustrations and portraits trying to sketch the poetry who each person offers. Whether it’s a watercolor, acrylic, or numeric design, always colorful, it’s the sparkling and sensitive look of the characters which interest me the most.
Stéphanie, Noirelavache, defines herself has an artist of all trades. She does a really good job!
